  1. To warm up from the cold pool, also the air around the pool is cold too.


  2. they dont technically wash themselves off. wat they are doin is keeping their muscles warm so they dont get tight for the next dive..  

  3. To wash pool chemicals off of their body and probably warm up from the cold pool water.
