  1. Dogs instinctively chase ALL animals....just more cats around than wild animals...anything smaller than they are and sometimes bigger....there are just more cats and dogs around communities where we live...HUGS!!

  2. When cats run, they trigger the prey drive in the dog and the dog chases them, thinking they are prey.  Cats that hiss, spit, growl, arch their backs, bristle up and possibly fight back are far less to be viewed as prey by a dog.

  3. They lookin' 4 action, just like us humans.  sometimes they win, sometimes they lose. sound familiar???????

  4. Maybe they have a hot crush on them....he he he  .....you'll never know

  5. Dogs are very territorial and also still have a strong instinct to  chase and kill for food. Although my dog is petrified of my cats. LOL!

  6. Not all dogs will do this, but it's probably down to some dogs being more connected to their natural canine habits of chasing prey for food, eventhough, they don't need to do so due to them having regular meals provided by their human companions.

    All the best.
