  1. I'm SO glad I came across this question...

I thought I was the only one who thought this!!!

My dog's paws smell just like Fritos!!

Sorry, I can't tell you why... But I agree that they do!

  2. Interesting question for sure!  I'm guessing it has to do with the type of food you are feeding him.  Maybe it's something to do with the amount of ground or yellow corn in the food?

Thought I would give it a shot :)

  3. Because they sneak into the Fritos while you are out!

If they could reach the fridge door, their paws would smell like salsa  dip too!

  4. Are you sure you don't have a binturong (bear-cat)??  They have a lovely Frito bouquet!  Their musk gland produces a purer form of the oil which smells of buttered popcorn, corn bread,or  Frito's.

Other animals produce the same chemical, but not so pure: some dogs more than others.  Also some people have better noses than others -- one reports that dirty socks have that odor.  So I guess we humans produce it too!!

  5. I don't know, but you're a freak!

  6. My dog has a weird scent also!

My dog spells like really good perfume though.

    :]

  7. It's a common observation (hard to believe) but I've never heard the reason.

  8. Hahahahaha!  I remember me and my sister used to say our dog's feet smelled like Fritos!  That's funny that other people noticed that, too!  Yes, that's a good question....why do they smell like that?
