Why do dogs paws smell like popcorn? ?

I have two dogs and their under-paws smell like popcorn. Other dog owners have commented on this. I think it's cute.

It's so funny that you mention this. My poodle's feet smell like corn chips! lol  I notice alot of the time it's not long after she licks them. I'm thinking it may have something to do with the saliva. I haven't found any hard evidence though  ;-)

its probably yeast infection although most people say it smells like fritos or something.

I say they smell more like Fritos.  Never tasted to see if they taste like Fritos though.

I've always thought it smelled like Frito's.  It's just their body odor that their sweat glands produce..
