Why would the cops(dolphins) try to save the killer(a shark) that kills the cops(dolphins) all the time?  Makes since huh?  lol

  4. No one knows why dolphins protect humans, but stories of the marine mammals rescuing humans go back to ancient Greece, according to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society.

It is unlikely that a dolphin would save a shark because sharks  eat dolphins. By sticking together, the dolphins have a better chance of avoiding trouble.
