What are we hiding, really. Do we actually think doors make us safer? Has a gang member ever gone to plunder a house, seen a dor and said, "Aw shucks...there's a door!"

  1. try this :

take your doors off your house and see what happens

  2. Doors keep the cold out including, snow and rain; they keep the cool air in from your air conditioner, they keep the flies out, mosquitoes and other assorted crawling creatures, they keep the neighbors animals from wandering in your house.  They keep solicitors from just walking in and selling you something and as far as thieves are concerned they are called deadbolt locks and burglar alarms.

  3. Because everyone else has doors. Its like the nuclear weapons. Ill get rid of mine if he gets rid of his, and she gets rid of hers! Weird....

  4. because everyone needs privacy.
