So far, I have downloaded 4 free applications on my ipod touch 2.0, and when I try opening one it pauses on one screen ( A picture of the menu of the app or something like that) for about 4 or 5 seconds. Then it closes and returns to the home screen meaning I can't use any apps. How can I fix this??? Thanks if you can answer this!

  2. The App Store seems to have a few little problems with installation now and then. Make sure that wherever possible, you are downloading them in iTunes and then synching them over. If you download them over wifi, 2.0 is very touchy and fragile if the download doesn't complete.

If you ARE doing this, the apps might be buggy, since Apple doesn't give them that much of a chance to beta test (they can't install it on a real Touch until it's released in iTunes). Try a different one. Grab the free app for AIM (AOL Instant Messenger). I can confirm that one works on a standard iPod Touch.
