They can be the most awesome dream but you've practically forgotten them like 10 mins after you wake up.

  1. Some night you can really have 9 or 8 dreams but you can't even remember all of it.

  2. its about memory recall some remember a little bit better than others but dreams often fade fast. you can try to remember dreams by thinking about them more often or writing them down. Check out this site if you want to learn how to remember dreams better:

  3. Alpha rhythms are the dreaming conscious, and they, and your dreaming conscious, blend into waking beta.  The dreaming conscious becomes the waking subconscious.

If you waken naturally, during the period of dreaming, your dreaming conscious has the opportunity to appreciate itself becoming replaced by beta wave attention, e.g. thoughts about breakfast, clothes, appointments, and/or it may be able to remain in alpha wave awareness, intuiting meanings about dreams, perhaps returning to a dream, becoming aware of returning to it, becoming lucid, gently changing the dream, etc.

  5. Dreams do tend to fade quickly after you wake up.  The best thing to do is to lay in bed without moving upon waking and go over the dream in your mind, clarifying details.  Then write it down or keep a recording device next to your bed.  If you can at least get the most important details down, you may be able to remember a lot more of the dream later on.

  6. Well if you try to focus really hard somtimes that can make it more difficult to remember. The best thing to do is to write down your  dreams as soon as you can after you wake up. Sometimes mine are a little hard to read over because i was half alseep and not making much sence. You could even just write down the main points or symbols. However a good way to try and remmeber is just to lay down an relax. Just breathe and sometimes they come back to you.

Also sometimes in your day to day life, something will remind you and all of a sudden you can remember part of or the whole dream.

  7. Dreams disappear so fast because youve been woken up from a noise or from something bumping/knocking/vibrating/someone shaking you awake etc basically you remember dreams when you wake up on your own accord... seriously I've had the wickedest dreams ever, and because I aspire to become an author...dreams = good ideas so im always annoyed when my parents are waking me up, but the ones that you remember from your dreams will stay with you for ever... I even remember one from atleast 6 years ago when the power rangers versed the teletubbies in a game of either hide N' go seek or a mass fight (I wouldve been 9-10) dont ask I mean I didnt like that soughtve thing back then, but my brother did so I was basically surrounded by those characters because we'd shared a room.

another random dream fact: did you know that if you think about something for atleast 30mins before you go to bed it will definatley 100% be in your dream.

  8. I know its so annoying!...sometimes I wake up and they are so vivid right there in my mind, and then I try and remember it even 10 mins later and its fading

  9. write your dreams in a dream journal

  10. I hate that!!! I noticed that it helps to write it down right when you wake up before you forget.

  11. Not sure what makes them disappear so fast, but I do know that if you wake up and can still remember your dream, think of it again while you're awake, repeat it to yourself, then get some paper (or your computer) and write it down if you want to think about it (or remember it) later! I read in an article about dreams that if you review your dream the second you wake up from it, it'll stick with you better throughout the day.

  12. i've heard the longer you sleep the less likely you are to remember your dreams. i guess if you suddenly wake up they are fresh in your mind. but if you sleep longer they have time to end and be gone out of your mind before you wake up and remember them all.
