  1. Because people want to get to their destination ASAP and speeds even during heavy rain. It's foolish and illogical, because your car can lose control and hydroplane; which is extremely dangerous.

Slloooooow down people, it's your life!!!

  2. unsafe driving habits, period.some people dont realize the weight they are propelling down the road.a car can be a weapon if used improperly.

  3. Personally I've never experienced people going faster then normal in the rain. Where I live it seems like if one rain drop falls everybody freaks out and drives 20mph under the speed limit.

  4. well my grandmother put it this way, if you are walking in the rain you walk faster to get out of it .well it is psychological so you drive faster too to get out of the rain

  5. Only the stupid ones do that. But, metaphorically speaking, in this world of "I need it, and I need it now!"....there's bound to be more and more "stupids" rearing their ugly heads.

  6. Because they're STUPID!!!

  7. Because they want to hurry up and get out of the rain.  Which makes no sense at all.
