Ducks don't think they walk funny, they think frogs walk funny, and frogs think snakes are hilarious when they attempt to walk.

After reading the answers explaining how or what makes a duck walk like do, doesn't explain why some extremely obese women in the mall waddle like a duck, when they do have knees, thighs and all necessary equipment to walk normally.

Ducks have legs that are meant for swimming.  Their feet are webbed, so it is a bit harder to lift without scratching them on the ground.  They fly pretty funny on my opinion too.  Swimming is their best thing to do.

I'm not entirely sure, but I do not think ducks have knees.  Try walking with your knees locked.

First of all ducks have leg joint, how else do they lock away there feet when they go in the water, all they keep out is the webed feet to swim

they walk funny because there legs are not accustomed to land and dont have thighs like us to stretch there legs with each step.
