  1. Good quality earphones don't have this problem. If you invest in a decent pair, you will be saving money in the long run.

I've even had great luck with some mid-priced earphones for $25-$30 at Best Buy. They have some really good Sony or Panasonic ones that have lasted me 2 or 3 years and still sound as good as day one.

  2. because when companies build things, they actually hire someone to make the product only last up to 1 year, 2 years(whatever the companies ask) so that you have to buy another one when its broken, that how they make alot of money. for example i bought my nano ipod about a year ago and it will probably last for one or two more years till it breaks and when i go to buy a new one there will be more advanced cool ones and more expensive and i wont be able to buy just a regular non expensive white nano, i'll have to buy something else more expensive cuz the white nanos are'nt in stock any more! get it? they do it on purpose to make more money!.......... but theres nothing we can really do.............

  3. Probably poor quality materials

  4. Are they cheap ones? They are probably made of poor quality material, and could be affected by dust or dirt in your pocket! High quality ones last for a long time.
