  1. i would luv to know i get that a lot it drives me mad

  2. The more potential employees they have on their books, the more appealing they will be to companies paying for their services.  So they take your details to make themselves look better to the people who pay them.  Business is a cynical world.

  3. Most times these agencies only want to get you on their books for later contracts. They don't usually have posts to fill when they advertise.

  4. they are unable to put you forward for vacancies until they have checked your references and also checked your eligibility to work in the UK

  6. agency Labour.

    agency gets rich.

You work for company for 11 months and then. gone..lol.

you never get any service years in..lol.

do yah get holiday pay ,sick,pay..etc etc...

See your union if you are allowed to join one..lol.

  7. Assuming that:-

    You dressed well

    You look normal

You didn't drop any clangers (like swearing, racism, general ars*hole=ness)

Then the company scammed you to attend.  This happened to me once I travelled 80 mile round trip for an interview with an agency that were advertising 'fake' jobs to boost the number of people on the books (agency was ATA).

In future insist that if they put you forward for a position you can attend only 1 interview and you want this interview directly with the client.  I provide all agencys with phone interviews if they require it although usually a chat is enough before seeing the end client.

  8. Been there ,if they are trying for a contract needing 100 people they need 100 names to cover it  ,all or none i'm afraid .Remember they still have you're details , i still get texts etc years later for starts here or there for different lenghts of time.
