  1. Not all famous kids are home-schooled, like Blake Woodruff he goes to my sisters school. Anyway they do because they dont want everyone to be all up in their life. Like at school when u need money 4 something, most people will go to the richest kid most likely it will be the famous one.

    hope i heleped!!!

  2. They don't have to be home schooled, but many are because of scheduling and sometimes security issues.  Max, your answer was actually pretty good this time, although I still think you are full of it.  If home schooling ruined your life and because of it you have no social skills then there would be no way you could be an "actor".  Instead of sitting on your lazy behind feeling sorry for yourself you may want to think about getting out an living.  If you really were an actor you would be around many kinds of people on a very regular basis, so  you lack of social skills are YOUR fault and no fault of home schooling.

  3. th amoun t of time in the classroom is interrupted in the day and month.

they dotn have continual curriculum and therefore need to have onset schooling.

  4. Kids are like adults they are star worshippers. Way too much distraction for a classroom !

  5. Scheduling.   They cannot be at two places at one time.  If they have rehearsals during the day and performing in the theater at night, the public school  will not create a schedule for them but in homeschooling they can study anytime they have a break .

I just feel sorry for them because they aren't socialized.  (ONLY KIDDING!!)

Ooops. Sorry Max. I forgot about you...even though I don't understand how you can be around people all day and not have a social life.

  6. They don't have to be homeschooled. Many are privately tutored than really homeschooled. Why? Well, how are they going to go to school if they are on set during the day? It's usually part of the contract for a movie or long-term show that they have someone tutoring them for x hours a day.

You've got a very strange view of school and homeschooling if you think the worst thing that could happen would be to be popular.

  7. theyre too cool for skool.

  8. There is no rule that says they have to be homeschooled, it is just easier because they can work around a more flexable schedule and if travel is required, they will miss fewer days.

Whenever there are children on a set be it Movie or TV, they are REQUIRED by State Law to attend x*x amount of hours for schooling and keep a particular grade average. In most cases, the people who are in charge of the Movie or TV show

will have a Teacher available for the child(ren) at the cost of the company. Other times parents will hire a Teacher to travel with them.

Many child actors do attend Public School in order to have a semi-normal childhood, but they are bound to school attendance rules which limits their availabilty to whatever project they are working on.

Homeschooling makes it easy to travel, allows for a more flexible routine, can be done anywhere and anytime, the student can speed up or slow down the learning process and can add life-learning skills in with the curriculum.

So they don't HAVE to homeschool, they just CHOOSE to.

  9. because they wouldn't have time to go to real school.

and then we'd have dumb and uneducated celebrity kids.

  10. They don't have to be, but many of them are due to their schedules.  They travel a lot, and are on set a lot, making it very difficult to keep up with attendance requirements with public schools.  With homeschooling, they can have a lot of flexibility on their schedules without sacrificing their education.

  11. They do not have to be.  Some child actors are homeschooled, some attend private schools, and some attend public schools.  No matter how they are educated, when they are "on the job" they attend set school.

Homeschooling is beneficial to child actors in this sense, because they are not interrupted in their education.  They take their coursework to set school, they do not "miss" the classes that those attending private or public schools do.  Some child actors that are not homeschooled might have teachers/principals that are less cooperative with sending their assignments to be done elsewhere, and it is hard for a child to keep up with what is going on in a class when s/he is not there.

I would think that in a lot of cases, safety is part of why some child actors are homeschooled as well.  The parents need not worry about the safety of their child while at school.  Being popular would not be the problem, being mobbed would.

  12. We don't "have" to be.

    It's just easier.

But, even then I think homeschooled actors should at least try to work around it, and not make the same mistake I've made.

    =/

  13. It's merely a precaution, they don't HAVE to be home-schooled. Some of their parents think that if they are in a public school that they will be distracted by other kids asking questions about their parents or possibly getting picked on by other kids who either don't like their actor parent or are just jealous. Most actors send their kids to prep schools like Beverly Hills high where they go to school with other children who have wealthy or celebrity parents.
