  1. they get in a rush and don't care. they think u wont check it before u leave.

  2. Because the don't get paid a whole lot. Plus a lot of them are teenagers that just don't care.

  3. the reason is because they always hav people waiting theyre always busy working, and hav so many orders at once its hard for them to keep up with it all

  4. bad memory

  5. They are the least educated of the working class!

  6. Because a lot of them are retarded.

  7. i think it's happened to me maybe one or two times in my entire life, so i really couldn't make the same generalization.

  8. TOO MUCH STRESS AND MANY TIMES THEY DON'T PAY ATTENTION.

  9. I kmow it is so ANOYING but I do sympithy cuz they have to work at such a crappy job and theyhave for such a crappy pay check. O and BTW i dont meen to sound mean

  10. Uhhhh maybe because people are human and not robots. How many mistakes do you make on a daily basis??? I do work with food and I admit I make mistakes sometimes but I also will be polite and aplogize if the customer is also polite with me. The number of rude customers and situations we put up with outweigh the amount of mistakes we make by a ton. Also I am not uneducated. I actually have 5 more classes for my BA degree but got stuck in a rut and I can't afford to take anymore classes right now even though I work 2 crappy jobs.

  11. not always, but from my experience, my orders are messed up about 5% of the time...so not that big of a deal.,

it's just that when the order is messed up, you get pretty upset!

  12. For the most part they are young and don't really care. Would you care about getting the orders right for $6 an hour? It is a job for them, and I know I surely wouldn't give a c**p how well I did for that little pay.

  13. because they don't pay attention. maybe the pay has something to do with it, but I say if you're going to do something, do it to the best of your ability all the time.

  14. hearty is rude on his answer because that is not always true. if you are going through a drive thru sometimes it might be hard to hear on the speaker. or maybe your voice is too nasely and cant be understood what you are saying. the person punching in your order may have it right but maybe the cook messed up in the back.

  15. I wish i knew! I get my orders messed up about 40% of the time!! how hard can it be to fix a burger thats already cooked?? PLUS  you have a screen in front of yiou telling you what to put on it!!! I always order mine the same.....dry wlettuce and onions only@@...but some assmunch always wants to put mayonaise or must or ketchup on it!! WTF>> DRY!!! hello thats why i gave up and went to Taco Bell from now on!!!

  16. Good question. I once got a hamburger from mcdonalds without the meat. I drove all the way home before I realized it too. I think it is lack of attention. The only thing I learned from this is to always check the order before you drive away.

  17. Its almost shocking to go to a counter and be met with a someone with a brain. I always assume its a college student with a part time job. The norm tho are people I'm not really sure can read the order ticket in the first place and I think thats a big part of the reason.

  18. Perhaps Blue Eyed girl 96 should do a little fast food work to determine how proficient she would be at the job. Then, she can belittle those who are serving her. In all the times I have frequented a fast food restaurant I have had one error which actually turned out to be in my favor. I think less than 1/100th of 1% is darn good.

  19. Most fast food workers have less than a high school education.

This is because most minimum wage workers in general have a

low IQ. This contributes to the workers memorization  ability being less than average.

most workers also work long shifts so their memorization ability and cognative ability is decreased. Therefore they can make errors in taking food orders.

  20. i've tooken a wrong order in my short 8 month taco bell career, but sometimes there is a few customers that go up to the common, untrained employee and dump a list of food on them. now why would you expect it to be right?

  21. im with ya sister. i use to go to this taco bell around the corner of my house and for some reason they always say please pull up and they will bring the order to me. well one day they came out and I noticed that the other 2 cars in front of me they brought the food to them but he was still wearing his gloves. and he was touching the side of the customers drty car touching the doors that are dirty from people not washing their hands from the bathroom and when he got to me I told him i want my money back and i expained to him and the manager told him it was ok. thats the last time i go there.

  22. I KNOW! i guess it's an easy job so they send retarded people over there lol :)

  23. Probably because they're overworked, underpaid, and you're being impatient.

If you go to a fast food place, ask for a cheeseburger, then get given a chicken sandwich, it's not too difficult to say "actually, I ordered a cheeseburger".
