Why do female Borg have b*****s?

One would think removing b*****s from females would be part of the assimilation process. They don't need them for borg babies because borg don't eat in that fashion. I always wonder that when I see 7 of 9 on Star Trek Voyager because many Borg have limbs amputated to facilitate robotic arms. I can't imagine why they females would keep such an unnecessary part for a drone.

Female breast milk is stimulated and extracted from Female Borg drones during the Re-generation process. After analysis and purification, it is then fed through tubes to Infant Borg being bred in incubators aboard Borg Hive ships. This provides the ultimate diet for Borg infants in their early life.

The borg are all about "adding biological distinctiveness" to their own.  In their quest for improvement, they will analyze any technological and biological structure to see how they can make something akin to it in their collective.  A woman's mamaries could be remade as something cybernetic, perhaps from a technological viewpoint, there is an advantage.

Ultimately though its about ratings, first of all, and second, that I recall I don't remember seeing any female borg as having b*****s, the borg I believe are genderless.  Seven as she is called had mamaries largely because of the restoration work done by the doctor.  Twenty fourth century medicine is more advanced right?  Now that you mention it, I think maybe the borg DO remove them, but, some simple DNA resequensing, a little bit of medical replicator use using that DNA, and presto!  Seven has new boobies!  However I believe a medical replicator will only work with whatever DNA sequence your body has written; for women wanted bigger b***s, hey, sorry, and besides, in the future women have been liberated and supposedly they don't care about that because of their "evolved sensibility" as Piccard put it in first contact.

Anyway, I think my front teeth just got a little longer, my head has hunched over a little lower, and glasses magically appeared on my head just now.  Analyzing your question like this I think morphed me into a nerd.  I better stop answering before the mutation transforms me completely!
