Why do female bodybuilders look like men?

Are they on steroids? Does the bodybuilding contests that they are involved in allow doping? If not how do they look so masculine and some even sound like men?

Yes many female bodybuilders are on steroids. Most bodybuilding competitions do not test for steroids otherwise there wouldn't be anyone left there to compete. Steroids are synthetic versions of testosterone which is a male hormone if women take them it can cause a deepened voice among other side effects, like hair growth etc.
