  1. Your fingers absorb water and excrete oil, the water makes your fingers swell, when the oil returns, the water evaporates.


  2. Have you ever seen a peice of tissue paper be soaked in water?

    Well the tissue soaks it up and it turnes all soggy..

    Same with you're fingers.
