  1. from my experience, sparkling drinks also go flat.

  2. All of them are the same reguarldless of what you call them. Carbonated drinks, fizzy drinks, sparkling drinks all have carbonated gas in them. Some of them the gas remains longer than in others. They will all go flat.

I don't understand the term sparkling anyhow. They don't sparkle at all. And sparkling is not a descriptive word for what the properties of carbonated drinks are like. At least fizzy is.

  3. I'm no expert, but I'm assuming it's because the bubbles in sparkling wine are caused by secondary fermentation, while the bubbles in sodas are "forced carbonation."

  4. I Think Just The Ingrediants.

  5. Fizzy drinks get that way by vigorous shaking with air, which causes the air to mix with the liquid, for a short time.

Sparkling drinks contain dissolved carbon dioxide, which takes a lot longer to evaporate from the liquid, once that the pressure is lowered after uncapping.
