  1. to a flea, the coat of a cat or dog is a huge shelter. it's a forest in which they can take root. Treat it, though, for your pet and for yourself, because they will not discriminate when it comes to nibbling on people


  2. Fleas are parasites. Fleas also don't care from whom they get blood, just so long as they have a host in which to supply them with blood. They can latch onto humans too for their blood supply. If you own a cat and/or a dog, you want to be sure that you have them checked for fleas by a vet since fleas are detrimental to the health and well-being of your pet. Also, be sure to ask for flea preventative for your pet from the vet.
