Why do flies have so many eyes, and why is it that we think they view the world many different times because..

of their many eyes? We have two eyes but it still looks the same with one closed, just a lil less vision. Maybe their eyes enhance their sight?

  1. Those "compound eyes" are very different from ours.

    They're fixed, where our eyes can swivel, and each little segment

    only 'see's a very narrow area.

    The fly buils up it's view of the world out of many small 'pixels'

    like those on your monitor.
