Why do flies like stinky stuff?

What do flies like stinky stuff like p**p & rotting food? I hate flies. The are one of the nasties bugs (next 2 roaches). I work in a deli & it is so had to keep those nasty things away from our customers food.

  3. Because stinky things have no friends, and their low self esteem causes them to allow flies to lay eggs on them.

    It may be completley different for flies =P
