  1. Well if that's the case i don't understand why they don't come!

  2. I take it you mean your own house and not a public house...Pub..Why would you charge friends to drink at your house anyway. If they come to your home, presumably you invited them..So why charge them? After all you dont do that to friend do you? I would be B....y offended if one of my friends put out their hand to charge me, say, for a glass of wine they had offered it. I think its pretty mean and don't make sense to me.

    J

  3. That's amusing. You have tight friends.

  4. you charge your friends to drink at your house? that's sad.

  5. BECAUSE THEY KNOW MINE IS ALWAYS HAPPY HOUR

    ROOM FOR ONE ON TOP

    MAKE MINE A BIG ONE

    TURN THE MUSIC UP

  6. Maybe Babycham just doesn't float their boat.

  7. ....in which case I hope you've got a licence to sell alcofrolic liqueurs............

  8. Perhaps you put the stoppers on the bottles a little too quickly, I have a friend with this habit, his brother opens a bottle and throws away the cap, more stay at his place for the odd snorter................

Do you dress up like a barmaid and give the lads a flsh when you dip down for a bottle?  Give it a try and you'll find it an ego trip for yourself

  9. Haha brilliant.  I never thought of doing that.  All my mates are getting their drinks for free!  Maybe if I undercut the pubs by 10% and provide a heated smoking area they will still come to my house.....

  10. Maybe you should have a 'happy hour' to lure em in, then once they're drunk, hike them prices back up to where they belong!

    That or the decor...

Or maybe it's something you said.

  11. have you banned smoking too???

  12. but do you have a Happy Hour

  14. Is this a rhetorical question?

  16. Take them to a pub.

  17. Maybe because you charge them.

  18. when was the last time you cleaned and or washed the glasses?

  19. aint fair charging friends eh?

y not ask them to get a bottle?call it a bottle party! make sure u provide d food! (@ no cost to ur guests!!!)

  20. Maybe you don't provide the right nibbles to go with the drinks lol

  21. your question is a little vague

  22. Well it is illegal  to charge for drinks at home you have to have  to obtain a licence.  Sounds like a wind up to me,

  23. Maybe the pubs atmosphere is so much better, after all they could sit in their own houses and drink for free!

  24. Not as funny as you might think.

We went to a wedding where the groom owned 4 pubs and a string of off licences, we were looking forward to a good free booze up but were all shocked when he had a huge bar with his own bar staff and we were charged full pub prices for every drink, not one of them free.

The only drink that was free was the champagne toast, but it wasn't champagne it was a cheap sparkling wine and only a quarter of the glass was filled.

Most people were in a S****y mood all day.

I am still amazed how many people take everything so seriously on here.
