Why do friends rather stay at home and watch TV than meet up and chats?

They are single and not tired from work on the weekend.

But somehow they'd rather stay at home and not meet up with any friend for months. Why is that? Don't people have the need to chat?

Maybe they just want some alone time and don't feel like being social at the moment.

are you refering to the tv show 'friends', well i don't know.

in general people, i guess everyone is just more ignorant now, and would rather be comfortable with themselves.

Well, because not everyone is the same.

Someone could be sitting at home asking the question 'Why do people bother with mundane chat when you could be at home doing something else?'
