In the language of some frogs, it's a concise message meaning: "Hello gorgeous.  I'm a wonderfully virile male frog capable of helping lots of very fit tadpoles be born, and would be an excellent choice of sexual partner.  Come hither and we'll make beautiful music together after, if necessary, having the equivalent of a candle lit dinner at some posh restaurant or other."

It's amazing how much meaning they can pack into a few syllables.  Frogs can be almost Shakespearean in their rhetoric.

Some frogs say "burp, burp, burp" ... and they're not really burping.  I think different kinds of frogs make different kinds of sounds.  It has something to do with territory and with mating.

Actually, not all frogs croak. Only males do that because they want to attract female frogs. Also, they do this to warn off other male frogs. The croak is made when they puff up their bodies.
