Question:

Why do furniture knock sometimes by themselves?

I don't know if knock is the right word, but sometimes furniture sound like they are knocked for no reason. I've found that it happens very often when my mind thinks intensively. This happens to light bulbs as well. They do a "click" and it happens everytime my mind is very active. Also a few years ago I used to go at bed and think of my deceased cousin and eveytime I did that, the modem of my PC would knock. It happened everytime, so I've excluded it being a coincidence. Anyway, I think that it has to do with brain waves, but I'd like to hear your opinions as well. I hope you've understood what I'm talking about... Thanks!
