  1. Ask Bush and his Saudi friends.

    Have fun.  MistressDolly

  2. They raise because the Democrat officials raise fuel the tax, the oil companies are forced onto raising the fuel prices in order to make a profit. 66% of fuel is taxed, in other words, if regular gas is $1.00 a gallon, then with zero tax, it would be only $0.34 a gallon or instead of paying $4.00 a gallon you would only be paying $1.36 a gallon, OH and it would be less that $1.36 because the oil companies had to raise the fuel cost because of the raise in taxes on fuel.

  3. It's just like the stock market, It goes up and it goes down.

It isn't set just by one person, one president, some middle eastern country, one oil company, or by a bunch of speculators, it's set by everybody. If you have a low supply of oil and high demand, the prices go up. If we have a good supply of oil and low demand, prices have to drop. The prices can go up, but it can only go up so much before it starts hurting demand. That's why we're seing prices drop.

  4. It's simple. Supply and demand causes most of the price changes. We are dependent on foreign oil so we are at the mercy of other countries. We could have cheaper gas by drilling for our own oil and building new refineries in the US which would give us more supply. Prices couldn't stay up then.

  5. heres another site to decrease the gas price ... you pay
