Why do gas stations have satellite dishes?

Not just gas stations. There's quite a few businesses that have them. I just can't figure out why a gas station would have them. I doubt it is for watching tv or listening to xm radio. Is it some type of business networking?

All of the convenience stores that have satellite tv are using it for internet to and radio. The use the internet to process credit card transactions in real time.

It could be for tons of things, it could be a radio for receiving new gas prices, they may actually have TV, it could be for internet, it could be a cell phone extender, and I could go on..
