Question:

Why do g*y people hate each other, and is it more traumatic to get "in" to the g*y community or to come out?

I am working on a paper about g*y suicide rates, and I'm discovering that the motivator is not always the straight community or coming out, but the hostile, suspicious reception of the g*y community. Especially about things like race, social economic status. I am on a deadline, so please comment so I know if I am on the right track. Any specific examples? Did anyone you know commit suicide because they where g*y, either coming out, or not getting in?
