Why do ghosts haunt?

Some people when they die didn't get something done, So they can't cross over. Some are evil, some are not.

Lots of reasons. Some have unfinished business, others have a message to pass through, others want to tell us about what happened with them, some are kept alive through our thoughts, some are uncleared energies, others are stuck in between planes. Some are actually manifested via thought forms collecting together, these are the more negative types. Some are real and some are fake (the manifested thought forms). So we need to learn the differences between them.

there is not a lot really known about spirits. There are theories out there. Lots of theories so here is mine.

The body is made of energy, feelings/emmotions and memory. When the body dies and spiritual part may not know its dead and so may stay in an area that it is familar with.

When the body dies suddenly (car accidents) the person will wander about looking for others because its lonely. Ever wander why there is a spate of accidents in otherwise quiet road.

Then there are spirits who die and return to the family home to look around because its familar.

But like people who are good and bad so are spirits so there may be reports that spirits are upsetting humans and this can also be about energy.

They really don't haunt anyone there are many theories to why they are here, no one really knows for sure untill they day untill that day we all make accurate guesses to why they are in locations,places etc. Heres some things my team believes:

Person , Place, or Thing Favoritism - attached to something and can't let go and follow it around, bonded with it.

Unfinished Business - They stay here until they get their goal or thing they did not do in life complete.

Sudden/ Unknowing death-  lets say you got shot in the back of the head just walking down the road and didn't know it or you were about to get murdered and went into shock right before you died , you probably would still go on thinking you're alive because you didn't know you were dead.

BONDED TO EARTH -  Not wanting to cross over due to scared of what is on the other side or just not wanting to leave.

Residual - A spirit (left over energy)  is unaware of time and space and does not interact with the people or places of the current time." Kind of like taking a VHS and pressing rewind you will get the same thing over and over again .”

Intelligent - these spirits are the ones who like to communicate, they do not know they are dead, most are hear for unfinished business etc. usually have an emotional bond to a particular person, home, object etc.

Poltergeist- Mischievous or annoying ghosts, for example things turn up missing then found in an obvious location, constant annoying noises like a tapping, banging, Electronics turning on and off etc.  (2nd theory)- these aren't ghosts and are caused by an overflow of human emotion mostly children and are very violent and stuff usually happened to the child who creates them
