Why do girls bikes have the low top bar when it's guys that rack their balls?

Good point, but is has more to do with girls in tight skirts throwing their leg over the saddle to get on.

i believe it's because in "olden times", women would bring their leg over the front of the seat, so they wouldn't sit on the dress or skirt stuck between their legs.

Actually, girls and guys have just as much to lose "down there", and if a girl ever hits that bar it'll hurt as much or more than a guy.

The womens frame was invented when women wore dresses when they rode a bike so they could avoid showing themselves. Modern bikes of good quality- whether mens or womens- have a (more or less) horizontal top tube.

But if girls' bikes had the bar they'd have to get off the bike by swinging their leg up and around the seat, and I guess most girls wouldn't like to have to do that, especially if they're wearing a skirt. And I think on most bikes you can stand up with your feet on the ground and still not have the bar touch your balls.
