Why do girls twitch their foot when their legs are crossed?

Ladies i notice girls will cross their legs after they sit and they eventually always twitch their foot that is crossed over real fast from right to left! They usually dance their foot around and then twitch it real fast and then go back to moving it around! Just wondering why girls do this cause i see so many girls doing this!
