  1. i like names you cant find in baby books that you can find in ancient history. nothing to crazyy though. i like traditional names that dont get used often like paige or something like that. i named my daughter zuriah pronounced zur-riya its different but not t0o crazy. i found out that it was an iraqii or iran queen along time ago after i named her.lol.

  2. I'd rather my child had a good solid time-tested name that's easy to spell and pronounce thank you very much.  If you chose to give your children 'original' names like Chlamydia, Apple, Shannyalaya, Karrrolin, or Whatever; it's their loss not mine.

EDIT - DO NOT email me again unless you have something new to say, "Shame on you for not thinking of your poor children" is just a repetition of your views which are apparently not shared by anyone answering your question.

  3. My daughter is 5 and her name is Leah.Whats wrong with that?Oh by the way i am a girl/women

  4. It's the parents choice...whether they'd like to name their child after someone who has achieved something special or after their parents to carry on the tradition.

Of course, people would like to feel 'unique' - I have no problem with that whether it's a personal choice or something that has meaning to it.

People would also like to be normal. 'Normal' is what everyone does and wouldn't like to stick out- why they want to do that is their choice.

  5. Nah, I like traditional names.  I wouldn't name my kids anything too unusual because they'd end up getting teased, and they'll never be taken seriously as they get older.
