Why do girly girls who are bi,g*y etc. prefer to be with boy-ish girls?

Normally alot of girly girls dont dig other chicks who are girly girl-ish but on the other hand love boy-ish girls why is that?

I think straight girls and femmes alike are not into looks as much as straight or g*y men and are less threatened by a partner who is not "too pretty", you'll notice that many straight women will just say they don't want a guy who is "too pretty" (OK girl, you take Jimmy Kimmel and I'll take Jude Law).

The baggy clothing and questionable haircut look isn't really male IMO its just sort of what someone looks like when they don't want to show off how they look.

Of course not all femmes are into bois and butches, but many are.

Opposites attract! I'm a feminine boy who is attracted to toned, masculine people. It's not the same for everyone though :p

I believe one has to be the male type figure in the relationship. While I love the idea of two beautiful women dating, it always seems one is the male-type and the other a girly type. In the different couples I've known over the years, it's always been like that. It's nice to see two hot girls together and it does happen. I saw it other day at the mall and it was cool. =)

I'm not overtly feminine, but I'm not really boyish. I do prefer more boyish girls. Why? Well, I just find them attractive. I'm not really sure why exactly. It's a combination of things: they way they act, they way they carry themselves, their confidence..etc. They're so beautiful and comfortable in their sexuality, and I love that! I definitely disagree with the guy that said that it's the masculine-feminine roles. That's so wrong. I'm actually pretty sure that if I was in a relationship, it would be 50/50. I've never been content to follow or lead, I'd rather her right by my side.

Not all of us do. I know many femmes who prefer femmes. I am one that prefers soft butch/butch women. I just think they are incredibly beautiful.

It's about personal preference. It's the same reason some straight men like blond women, or brunettes with long hair.
