You need to top your salt on the machines water softner ( and the rinse aid) even if you use the 3in 1 tablets.

Once you have the clouding known as etching a soak in bleachy water can help reduce it but if it has built up it maybe impossible to remove

I found a product called Lemi Shine, it removes spots and film and is fantastic.
