Men put way too much emphasis on physical attractiveness. Attractive women can get away with a lot because there are so few of them in the general population. A  lot of men who are educated, non-smokers with no children will date a woman who is a high school drop out, and a smoker, with several children if she looks good enough. Isn't that terrible?

Sometimes they like a bit of excitement in their lives, but as for the Harvard graduate attorney, perhaps he just thought she was a nice person? Susan Atkins might have changed since then and be different. Or maybe they got along very well?

There's a lot of good boys that like bad girls, that's true. It saves us the trouble of explaining things or going through embarrassment with an innocent girl.
