  1. gas usually floats...

Because they contain alot fo water, or the density of the fluid inside them is higher than the density in water.

  2. isnt it obviouse?

  3. due to the density of the fruit to surface area ratio

Did you know that an orange with the skin on floats, but and orange with the skin off sinks?

  4. Apples float.

  5. The grapes are less dense than the "other fruit" - to the point where they are less dense than the water.

Things that float are less dense (net overall) than the water.

  6. grapes are small and light weight, if there is enough water other fruit should float too.

  7. Grapes contain a lot of gas hence the fact they ferment (making wine)
