Why do guys act weird around a girl on xbox live? ?

i have a friend that i play with on-line sometimes and every time we finish a match the guys on the other team either hit on her or say she's fat just because she's a girl that plays games. she doesn't even say anything to them, all they do is hear her talking and immediately start asking, "are you a girl" and when she says yes they start saying some messed up stuff to her. i know that trash taking has become a big part of xbox live but it doesn't make sense to me why guys act different around a girl gamer.

because gamers (for the most part) arent used to girl company, they are used to girl company.. ive noticed this big time.. im kindof a big gamer.. its like priority list:

1. girls

2. gaming

3. breathing

so i know exactly what your talking about.. i dont act that way because ive been laid lol.. but most of the guys...

sometimes guys just can't believe girls can do stuff guys do

so their pride gets hurt and they cover it up by pulling down the girl

saying mean things, letting her know she doesn't fit in

I've only noticed that once when I played Halo 3. I think that was the only time I ever ran into a girl gamer with a mic. But yeah, its messed up what they say, but that's what guys do, especially when they aren't confronting her face to face, so no harm can be done upon them. It pretty much happens everywhere. Just guys trying to get a laugh and making the other guys laugh.

Well, most guys on XBL are underaged and have yet to be laid, so they immediately have to hit on the girl. But, if the girl is actually good, they have to put her down to save face among their virgin peers. It's a never-ending process, but it's not just X-box Live..it's PSN too. It's not QUITE as bad on Playstation, that I've noticed...but I also usually run with a full party, too, so less random people, besides on the other team.

I don't like playing with most girls on XBL to be honest they are really annoying hhahahhahha that's so sexiest but I'm serious just today I played COD4 with a girl and she is already sending me messages that she is my girlfriend and I've only know her for like 4 hours and If you say a swear word at them they leave and get mad. But to answer your question its because most people me included are used to playing with just guys and when a girl comes along you are just not used to their playing style because you can trash talk guys but it just fells wrong if you trash talk a girl lol.
