Well take a quick look in the women's health section and start answering questions about dangling or un-even labia. It is the same issue differerent perspective... just ordinary teenage kids feeling insecure about their s*x junk. They will grow out of it.

Aside from that, men are competitive and also as a matter of self esteem, nobody wants to be inferior, which can translate into not being the shortest or smallest in anything, but most of all in something as important as one's sexuality.
