Why do guys degrade women by calling us whores and such degrading names?

Look at it this way, how many men walk up to someone much bigger and tougher, and pick a fight?  NOT MANY!  Bullies are good at calling others cowards and demeaning them in any way they can get away with.  But whenever presented with a credible challenge––or even moderate resistance––they tend to skulk away.

So, the men who abuse and degrade and demean women (and other men too) are generally powerless a******s who like to "represent" that they have true courage by taking on others who are weaker and smaller.  For them, it really doesn't matter.  Women and even children and very tiny babies will do.  In their twisted brains, someone always "deserves it."  They may be rich, they may be poor, but they're twisted inside, and unlikely ever to change.  Steer clear!  Take it from a white-haired man.  The chief difference, between those who live to old age and those who don't, is that some of us learn to spot the crazies coming and head the other way.  If a man beats you, don't sit and reason with him, don't forgive and forget.  GET THE h**l OUT OF THERE!!

There is help and you can find safety, but you have to reach out for it.  If you find safety, don't dwell on the past.  Know that these twisted types have a very high likelihood of spending significant portions of their lives behind bars, and it won't be pretty, because there's always someone tougher.

Now, if you were talking about people who talk dirty in bed (and I don't think you were), there are folks who just get excited by taboo talk.  But if you're in a kind and loving relationship and this bothers you, talk to your lover about it.  Tell him it's not having that effect on you, that's it's making you unhappy, and you'd like to agree on other ways to make life spicy.
