Why do guys hate big purses?

I know it sounds silly, but i have realized that nearly all guys would criticize women carrying big purses. What's the big deal?

big purses dont look trendy, and they scream im a granny, they say "im needy" and "i need this big as purse to maintain myself." and their smaller counterparts just look better.

I'm a girl. I don't see the need. what do you have in there. do you need it. or do you just want to carry an oversize bag because it's big and was once in fashion.  if there's clothes in there. fine.  books. fine. use it as a laptop carrier fine. but mostly it's just make up and other stuff. it's not that necessary

mine loves my big purse because he can put anything in it that he doesn't want to carry (wallet, keys, cell phone, bottled water), it works for me because I can ask him to carry my purse since his stuff is in there too

It's out of a secret fear of being hit with them.  

We know how much you people carry around in big purses and we don't always have sufficient medical insurance to cover the major internal injuries that would occur.
