Why do guys hate when women wear buns?

I think it's a very chic look. And besides, if you have a beautiful, striking face, sometimes it's best to put your hair back so you don't take away from it.

i know! i saw an episode of king of queens and doug and his friends made such a big deal over the bun carry did! i like buns :( im scared to wear one now because i may look bad to guys!

Because Mary Poppins wore buns. And they tend to be very severe and strict looking. Try a messy knot – it’ll show off your face while still looking trendy.

Depends on how you do it.

Some people just don't look good with it. They end up doing it so tightly, their face looks weird.

Plus, it usually gives a more...authority, not fun person feel with the wrong people.

A bun isn't attractive.  Just isn't.  I don't care how striking your features may be, they can be equally as striking with a variety of other, more appealing hair styles.  Having your hair back in a ponytail or something is far more attractive.

Even look at the common fantasy of an attractive teacher or librarian or something, what's one of the first things they do?  Take the hair down.  Think about it.
