Why do guys like blowing up things........?

Some guys do get a rush from blowing things up. It's a way to exercise the Inner Monkey without physically attacking people.

Its not only a guy thing. Most of my female friends are total pyros, including me.

They just like being in charge over nature/manipulating the environment, creating and then destroying...

Cannot fathom guys sometimes....An old male friend put petrol on a barbeque for fun, I tried talking him out of it, but he wouldn't listen.  Luckily I was far enough away from the resulting explosion.  He wasn't and ended up horribly burned on his face & upper body.  Yes, I took him to the hospital.

It is a built in desire. If you watch boys building sand castles on the beach, they build them as fast as they can, in order to destroy them.

i don't know but i've wondered this before. i remember in high school some friends of mine and my ex's asked us to go with them to try out some sort of homemade explosive c**p. we declined.

i am going into the army as feild artilery...meaning im going to blow everything that is the enemy up....its the rush you get from it...the power in the explosion...its a str8 up thrill for us guys that are not *******

Yeah a little bit of one.  I like the noise too of big fireworks, and sometimes the bright light.

It looks cool and sometimes certain things make huge explosions. Gives me a thrill.
