Why do guys play games!?

Question

I have this friend... a guy friend... which i have also worked with... we used to go out all the time (as friends), go movies and shopping and all that... but i just dont get what he wants! one month he would call me each night and we'd talk for hours.. he'd tell me anything.. the next minute he's cold... and then he'd make up things/lies to make himself look better...*which is alittle pathetic*... and he'd lie to his friends, tell them he's busy so he could hang out with me... this has been going on for months.. and i've kinda given the friendship space cos he acts like were in a relationship ( not to mention he talks about other girls all the time) yet when he talks to my friends he tells them that quote "i dont appriciate him enough and i dont care about him".... but like i do... and i show that but sometimes he gets alittle tooo much!!!

he's really confusing because he makes it absolutely CLEAR that he doesnt want anything more than a friendship.. yet he acts like im in one with him... if i dont say hello he would have a tantrum...

should i just leave him be? i've tried talkin to him about it but he doesnt really get it. !!!!

he sounds like i was 2 years ago.

very very very insecure.

im still heaps insecure but he sounds more insecure than me.....

i don't know what you should do really... up to you i guess...

*sigh* its so strange... ive been through that but i really dont have any good advice.

i dunno... whatever happens would be for the better i suppose...

if you leave him, he will learn to treat girls better and that character is more important than behaviour.. and if you dont leave him... you guys will both learn alot from each other?

Leave him, he sounds like a time-wasting arrogant prat who thinks he can mess you around. Find someone who will respect and look after you.
