Why do guys say they will call and then won't? is it a guy thing?

hey

ive started dating this guy for 2 weeks now. we are both 18 and we have a great time together. we have already slept together and i wouldnt have done it unless i felt ok with it and i did because i feel so comfortable with him and although we've only known each other about 3 weeks its just feels so right being together. i think he likes me because of the little cute things he does and the fact he's happy to introuduce me to all his family and friends. and no he isnt a player!

but anyway he said he'd call me today, when we said goodbye yesterday and he hasn't. is it just a guy thing to say you'll call and then it takes you days or can this guy just not be bothered with me?

The guy probably doesn't want you to think he's clingy and does what you say or he wants to make you wonder when he is going to call and he thinks thats going to make you want him more.

usually when guys say they'll call,

it means when and if they remember.

so it could take awhile..

It is not always the guy thing. It depends on the feeling. When you fall in love, every second count. Depend on the degree of how deep you fall. Even if he likes you, but he may think that two or three days before calling is normal. But if you fall in love with him, you expect he call you right away, within 86400 seconds (that's ONE day), if possible.
