Why do guys stare at me?

i am 16. i used to be really shy around guys and nervous so i would never acknowledge that i saw them. now that i actually look around and stuff and don't look away when i see a guy i notice that guys stare at me alot? im inexperienced when it comes to guys and i've never even made out before. for example,yesterday i was all wet after the beach and i was walking and this guy who was in the passenger seat of a car was staring intently at my face,and i just kinda glanced at him whatever.umm and then at lunch this guy who worked at the place held eyecontact with me as i was walking out it was weird cuz he was staring at me. there is this boy at school who does this same thing to me but i ignored him everytime.i really like him but i was such an idiot for not lookign at him. now that i look around and not look away when i see a cute guy, why do they stare so much at me? when they look at me should i smile or what??help.

Maybe they find you attractive? You should be flattered, unless its a creepy old man. If its a guy you like try just smiling at him and see if he smiles back.

A good idea. would be to smile, yes.. especially if you like the guy.. it's meant as a compliment.. after all those guys were all looking at your face so that means they find you attractive.. if they were staring at your b*****s that would be offensive.. but they must like what they see.. some of them may be shy too.. so if you don't smile they may think you are not interested.. otherwise they might start a conversation with you if you look and smile back.. and if you don't like one who looks at you then don't smile at him.. that will keep him away.. and the ones you smile at will know that you acknowledge the compliment .. which is what it's supposed to be.. they are just staring as they find you attractive.. obviously they are shy also or they would come over and start a casual conversation... maybe you could do that.. say hi.. and talk about something casual.. a subject at school.... as for his opinion if he likes that subject.. x*x of course you don't make out with a guy who smiles at you.. you get to know a guy..  find out if there is something you have in common.Be friends first.. no guy likes a girl who is too easy to be had...  of course if you both really like each other if you meet someone when the right time comes then there is no need to feel ashamed if it happens but when that time comes in your life.. practise safe s*x.. meaning it would be good to sey a gyno and get the birth control pill when you meet someone who could be the one you will become intimate with sometime in the nearer future... xx

well apparently they stare because they find you attractive. yeh you should smile back. but remembe just because a cute guy is smiling and staring at you does not mean you have to make out or anything
