Question:

Why do half the people here think that Portland won't make the playoffs or are not going anywhere?

They were 41-41 last season and this season they can do nothing but improve after adding Greg Oden(Number 1 Pick), Rudy Fernadez(Best Europe player in years), Jerryd Bayless(SL MVP). And Brandon Roy(NBA All-Star), LaMarcus Aldridge(Future NBA All-Star), Travis Outlaw, AND Martell Webster will all improve. WHO SERIOUSLY DOESENT AGREE WITH ME? AND THE FUTURE OF THE NBA IS THE HORNETS AND BLAZERS.

  1. THANK YOU

I agree wit u all da way. I deffenitly c dem gettin better 4 sure...da best young team in da nba. They did better than wat people thought they would do with out their 1st overall pick...now hes comin back and plus all your other young players r developing. Their gonna be a best team 4 sure.

lol good 2 c a Hornets fan. Chris Pual gonna be 1 of da best PG's ever

    20+points while....still getting 11+assist...wow

  2. Personally, I like the Blazers.  I think they did good this summer with all of the youth they got.  I think all they need to do is get a little more experience and mature basketball wise.  If everyone stays healthy I think they'll be serious contenders and can win the championships in about 5 years or so.

  3. Because of Greg Oden's poor performance last season in the summer league...and they also don't have a true point guard.

  4. Don't listen to the idiot above me (J) because Tim Duncan did bad in the Summer League and look where he's at.

I think the Blazers will be a CONTENDER in the West. So much talent and Nate McMillan is a defensive minded coach, and Greg Oden is a defensive minded player (you cannot argue that Oden will be the best defender in the league) so this will help the Blazers a lot...

Also, they have the best bench in the NBA. With an added Euro star (Rudy) and a future all-star PG (Bayless).

This team is bound for at least 2-3 championships.

Oden is going to be the ROY. GO BLAZERS

"Oden, Aldrige, and Roy don't even match up to them.

Don't dream about the Trailblazer's hopes.

Don't get your hopes up buddy."

YOUR AN IDIOT...the Blazers have FOUR future all-stars and two future HOF'S...

Lamarcus is one of the top 10 PF'S.

B-Roy is one of the top 5 SG'S.

Oden will be one of the top 3 C'S

Bayless will be one of the top 5-10 PG'S.

You are just jealous. While everyone else is getting older we are just getting better. We had a 41-41 as one of the YOUNGEST team's ever and we didn't have our franchise changing player in Oden.

    "Or Kobe's Rookie Year."

    KOBE AVERAGED 8 PPG IDIOT

  5. because they are too young

  6. they re idiots tats y

i already bet wit my friends,

portlands goin to the western conference final at least

Greggy is the Defense anchor that can also score i nthe post N unselfish

BRoy is a star. he s a stud. reminds me of a young D Wade. He has that star scoring ability but he s willin to pass.

Bayless is gonna be somethin good. Not as good as mayo obviously, (mayo gonna be a superstar. Y? He takes summer lesons from KOBE)

Bayless is gona be a solid starter this year

    Aldridge is a great scorer

    The bench is great

GM is prob the best out there along wit Joe dumars

  7. WHOOO sombody needs to get off portlands nuts

  8. No one will EVER agree with you.

All they have is some fresh rookies.

    And bearded veterans.

    Rookies do get some prospect

But you can't compare them to Lebron's rookie year.

Or Garnett straight outta high school.

    Or Kobe's Rookie Year.

Oden, Aldrige, and Roy don't even match up to them.

Don't dream about the Trailblazer's hopes.

Don't get your hopes up buddy.

Or just keep your fingers crossed for the next 4352747589236 years.

Maybe they'll play the Pistons or the Celtics next year. x]
