Why do hamster do this help?

my hamster is squrting out yellow stuff on the corner of his cage and it keep getting on the carpet of my rent home he put his leg on the edge and squrt it on it. help and if i has to i cant take him to the vet cause of the hurricane condiction and im broke. help is their anything i can do to make him stop and is their anything i can buy to get the nasty stuff off of my carpet??

thats nasty. my hampster died of yellow tail, and she did the same thing. put paper around the cage so the hampster squirts that and not the floor
