Why do hispanics who sneak into our country think we owe them health care and a free education?

Yeah, on the news I saw a large group of ILLEGALS protesting and DEMANDING things from OUR government. I was amazed they weren't shut up and sent to Mexico.

Criminals tend to think the world owes them.  As soon as Bush is out of office there might be a better chance of securing the border because he is flat out opposed to the idea.  As a matter of fact, he wants to eliminate the border altogether.

you know not ALL hipanics sneak into the country im puerto rican and i didnt hop the border or sneak in ...plus most mexicans come to the US to get better jobs...mexico has lots of poor places and dont get paid very well thats why they come here...im not mexican but i do have mexican relitives and i know what theyre going through so deal with it malditos!

i agree with you there. like, if you want to come into this country with some pride, at least get your fricken papers and be legal! its easy to get papers and doesn't take long. why do we give them free c**p and not to our own poor people? cuz we're stupid.

Alexis, I think you're confused.  Of course you didn't hop the border or sneak in.  You're from Puerto Rico!  Not only are we not connected by land, Puerto Rico is a US Territory, which means you have a RIGHT to be here.

People who come to this country demanding hand-outs, do so because we allow it.  In fact, our government encourages it.  The big plan is a Union similar to the EU, except with Canada and Mexico.  Guess who'll reap the greatest benefit?  Hint:  not us and not Canada

This is so rude! You are pretty much putting all Mexicans into this category and acting as if they have no right to be here. yes maybe they are here illegally but they had to leave their own country and leave everything they have ever known to start all over. Do you think that is easy? For your country to be so bad you need to get out any way you can is pretty bad. Yes I agree they should not be looking for hand outs but in most countries unlike ours...education and health care ARE  free! The way it should be. So maybe they aren't expecting freebies but expecting what we deserve in America.

All of us came here from some where else. Either your family is Irish, Spanish, German, Polish, Italian...WHATEVER. Remember we all started out somewhere else too. Maybe it was awhile ago but don't forget where your family came from and all they had to do to get here and become an "American". Getting papers may seem easy and cheap to you but that isn't always an option for people. If they are coming here and working their asses off to make a better life for themselves I say they have the right to a better life just like the rest of us.
