Why do humans read vs lions and bears. what element of reading leads to survival?

  1. I thinks it's less about reading and more about the ability to absorb knowledge. We don't see bears reading "Webster's" or a lion scanning the "New York Time." Surviving is based on the know-how to do so. Whether you learned how to start a fire using a toothpick and a rock by reading a book or the bear and lion know the right way to fish or bring down a gazelle because they watch others do so, it all comes down to absorption of knowledge.
