  1. Because you have a conscious and you feel for the animals your still a good person though very in tune to the animal.......if you feel that way than why don't you stop eating chicken......yeah i know it can be difficult but it gets easier over time

  2. may be you should consult a physician . Humans have canine teeth and digestive system which can absorb both veg and non-veg foods .So there is no point of depriving yourself from having non-veg foods.

  3. i have been vegetarian for 4 years now nand  i just feel so much healthier and would never go back to eating meat

and there are lots of recipes for vegetarians these days and i just cant get enough so its up to you what you want to do if you really cant stand eating meat maybe just try out some vegi recipes and see how you find it and then if you are serious about it you can gradually cut out the meat and as for your husband eventually he should get used to your change in eating

  4. Cage free chicken I sersiously hope you dont pay extra money for that lol. WOW, if you really believe gimmicks like that then I dont now what to say, Do you really think it is killed any different than a regular chicken. Chickens aren't even raised in cages, ANYWHERE HAHAHHA. Alll it is is marketing for people who don't really know what they are buying.

  5. Cage free chicken isn't any different that other, they just aren't in a "cage" but they are still millions of chickens crammed into a small space with no outside sunlight or air for months until they are inhumanely slaughtered and eaten. Humans are not "supposed" to eat meat, it's disgusting and not healthy for you, other than fish occasionally, but as a vegan I think even fish is terrible. You get ill because your body doesn't want/need the meat. I'd say go veg, you won't regret it and you'll feel better. Bloody dead carcases of adorable animals fried up for your eating pleasure are enough to make anyone ill...

  6. Same reason some people think fat, salt and carbs are gross: it's psycological programming of oneself.

Like all psycological conditions, you can fight it. Simply counter-program yourself.

    - oh yes: and buy meat from animals, that haven't been treated badly! :)

  7. duh - becuz when u think about it -its a dead corpse!

  8. First, I understand how the idea of eating dead animals can be sickening.  Deep down you probably feel it's wrong to support the death and suffering of animals for food you don't need.

Second, humans were not meant to eat meat.  We don't have the teeth, claws or digestive systems to kill and eat animals.  Can you even imagine yourself tearing apart a small animal with your teeth and hands like a dog or cat would, and eating it raw?

Third, I am happily married to a meat-eater.  He might think it's weird but as long as you don't preach at him or anything, you should be able to find a compromise and get along just fine.

  9. your husband , like most men , don't have a clue what is or isn't good for them.

My husband was raised on a dairy farm, me on a chicken farm, I do the cooking  and we are vegetarian (95%) most of the time. He was a big meat eater when we met, with a bad tummy, etc.

He was misdiagnosed as having MS, it is the cumlitive effects of years of eating meat products/ dairy products and needing a good chiropractor.

And we DO get sick if we smell or accidentaly eat meat products; don't enjoy the bathroom that much....

IF he has any concern for his own health and spending many happy years together with you he needs to rethink "what" is important... YOU or a steak...

  10. Animals were meant to be eaten, but not tortured like they are now.  In the Bible is says that animals are intended for use to consume, but it also says not to torture them.

Also I think your husband would just want you to be happy.  If that's not the case it should make you wonder.
